Update

JAMM's supervisor never called me to apologize. Am I surprised? I think not. Add the supervisor to the jackass list.

I was going to call back the lady who said she would have JAMM's supervisor call me and tell her that no one called me. However, I think it would just piss me off more so I am going to write a letter to United and try to let this one go. If I ever see JAMM again, I might have to tear him a new one. Hopefully, we will never have to fly out of this small airport again.

I just googled "united airlines complaints" and there are about 848,000 site dedicated to this. Ridiculous. Don't fly United!

I agree--United is terrible! When Andrew & I flew to Hawaii, we expected there to be at least one meal. It's an 8-hour flight, and there was NO meal served. You could buy a "snack pack" (cash only, so too bad if you don't have any cash--guess you're not eating for 8 hours). Literally, they were boxes w/ things like string cheese, crackers, and an apple in them. You might have seen them on your flight. And they only went around once offering them. If you wanted one after that initial offering, you had to track down a flight attendant to get one, and many of the choices had sold out. Crazy! I guess a lot of other airlines are doing this now too, but it completely shocked me. No food included on an 8-hour flight?? And I was pregnant at the time, too!

I decided to be clever and buy a little bottle of red wine in the duty free at Charles deGaulle so I could have a little on the way home from France... and was informed that it is actually illegal to serve my own wine... got to pay $7 to buy the same damn little bottle from the flight attendant and have her pour it. Lovely.
